About

Camila (she/her/hers) is a licensed creative arts therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults both in English and in Spanish. She has worked with people dealing with grief/loss, anxiety, depression, substance use, and acculturation. She has worked in schools, in-patient psychiatry, and private practice, working in collaboration to cultivate a therapeutic relationship to facilitate exploration of challenges and expanding on strengths. Working from a trauma focused, and social justice lens, she uses various methods such as CBT, mindfulness and creative expression to create a deeper understanding, and greater self-awareness.
