hi! my name is caity and i am licensed social worker, in the state of california, with 4 years of professional work experience. i have experience in many areas of counseling, but prefer to focus on helping clients with: stress and anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, & family conflicts.

i'm more of a “processing” therapist - i believe healing or resolution is derived from processing & giving life to those emotions we've been avoiding. "to get through it, you've gotta go thru it," is kind of my vibe. if you feel you're looking for something different, i completely support assisting you in finding a new therapist. the most important aspect of therapy, however, (speaking through evidence-based research and personal experience) is the connection the client has with their therapist. period. :) if you feel we don't connect 100%, let's have a conversation about that so i can help serve you to the best of my ability!

about me: i live in newport beach, CA. i live alone but i have a 10-year-old toy poodle and a three-year-old tuxedo kitty! i love animals so much. my parents and sister live nearby in irvine and i spend a lot of time with them :) i have a 9-5 as a therapist elsewhere and spend my off-hours here chatting with you lovely people! i genuinely enjoy my profession - the stories i've heard, the lessons i've learned through shared experiences, and the growth i've witnessed.
