Hello! My name is Cadie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience in the field of counseling. I have worked in multiple practice settings with the majority of my experience as an inpatient therapist in psychiatric hospitals. This has allowed for me to work with a variety of people affected by anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse, relational issues and much more.

I am a Louisiana native...Geaux Tigers! I received my undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Biological Science and obtained my Masters degree in Counselor Education with a focus on Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.

I provide counseling from a client centered approach, meaning clients develop their own goals and decide the depth of the sessions. I combine cognitive-behavioral therapy and a solution-focused approach when developing treatment plans, and utilize multiple treatment modalities to assist clients in meeting their goals. I believe in helping clients develop a "tool-box" to build self-esteem while processing issues that arise throughout the therapeutic process.
