Hello there, my name is Byeol Shim. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of IL. With my background and training in art therapy, I utilize various artistic methods and creative modalities to encourage the personal growth of the individuals I work with. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and culturally inclusive environment where my clients can work through difficult feelings and emotions in the most accessible way-- and ultimately, heal, grow, and experience empowerment through a creative therapeutic process. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and collaborative.
