About

As a licensed counselor in Texas with 8+ years of experience, I provide support to help individuals understand their mental health issues and relationship challenges. My approach is best described as psychodynamic, which involves discussing the past and using frank and honest questions to resolve internal conflicts while equipping clients with tools to overcome external conflicts. As a counselor I take feedback from sessions very seriously, my past clients have told me that I am logical, reflective, practical, good-humored, adjust well to feedback and am empathetic. I believe emotions and reactions are the result of the interaction between the body and brain and our perception. If you are interested in discussing your mental health with a professional who trusts and respects that fact that your emotions are your private property until you make them known, I would be honored to partner with you to live out your values with self-confidence. I look forward to addressing your concerns regarding your emotions and supporting you in any way I can as your counselor. Sincerely, Bryan Young LPC.
