About
I recognize that each of us has an intrinsic drive toward health and happiness. Still, life’s difficulties can create patterns within us that outlast their usefulness. As an empathetic listener I empower clients to generate solutions and implement meaningful changes. I emphasize a collaborative approach to address the needs of the client most effectively. Because therapy is not "one size fits all", I utilize an eclectic range of techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Strategic Family Therapy, and humanistic approaches. I have experience in outpatient, child welfare, crisis, addictions, and trauma settings. My spare time is spent running, bicycling, writing or performing music, and being a dad.
