Over four decades of experience working in the mental health field, I have found that with empathic professional help most therapy clients find solutions to their issues within themselves. Problems occur when a person gets stuck with thoughts or feelings that are uncomfortable or unpleasant. It can be hard to find another way of being without a compassionate and wise guide.
