Hello! My name is Brooke Serrano and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a drive for working with young adults, adolescents, and teens. By using a client-centered approach, I focus on your individual goals and exactly what you want from therapy. Therapy is what you make it! My approach Client-Centered, EMDR, ACT, Mindfulness, and CBT My focus I have a lot of experience working with different diagnoses including: GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), Major Depression Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Trauma, Domestic Violence, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), Grief, DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), and LGBTIA+ communities. My communication style I aim to create a safe, inclusive, and open environment for every client that works with me. I am open with discussing any issues or concerns with clients in order to continue focusing on the most important part of therapy, you. Every session is your own time and I want to make sure I respect what you want to get from coming to therapy. My journey to mental healthcare I have always known that it was my calling to help others. I enjoy working with all individuals and helping others overcome their current obstacles in order to become more successful. My goals for you During the first initial sessions, we will work on developing a treatment plan in order to better evaluate what it is you want out of coming from therapy. After 90 days, we will reevaluate your goals and your current interests in continuing treatment. My first session with you During the first session, we will get to know each other. I want to make sure you feel comfortable in sessions and address any concerns/ questions you may have. We will begin by developing a treatment plan in order to develop your goals within therapy. I will also begin to gather information such as your background and reasons for wanting to begin treatment.
