I am a LICSW with nearly 20 years of psychotherapy experience. I am a practicing social worker in the State of Vermont and enjoy working with individuals and couples. My therapy approach is flexible and I believe that my clients should feel comfortable in sharing what their therapy preferences are and I will work for them. For those that may be new to therapy I enjoy educating and exploring treatment modalities to find the one that best fits your needs. I do find that my therapy model tends to have components of cognitive behavioral, dialectal therapy and mindfulness techniques. I have extensive training working with individuals that are survivors of trauma, struggle with mood labiality and social anxieties. I have had the pleasure to work with many transgender individuals and helped support many individuals as they transition.
I strongly believe that therapy must be flexible to meet individuals needs. I have experience in providing both short and long term therapy in addition to crisis based services.
