About
I started the Couple and Family Therapy program, in 2011, at Adler University. I volunteered at a domestic violence shelter in Cape Town, South Africa during my last year at Adler. I graduated with a master’s degree in 2013. I started my career as a Home-Based Therapist with Lifeline Youth & Family Services. I went to work with Capitol City Family Education Services, where I continued to do home-based services but also worked with clients in schools as well as in the office. I later went to work with Infinity Counseling & Wellness Center where I provided therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
I work with individuals, couples, and families to help navigate life transitions, cultivate healthy relationships, and work toward achieving an overall life balance. By partnering with my clients to explore mechanisms such as healthy boundaries, setting appropriate expectations, and respectfully accepting others’ differences, I encourage them to delve deeper into self-love and self respect - which I believe is the cornerstone of good mental and emotional health.
