Hello. My name is Brittany Oaks. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Alaska. I have 9 years experience working in this field. My degree is in Mental Health Counseling specializing in Crisis and Trauma. I received further training in the ARC Framework, EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and Parenting with Love&Logic. I provide kind, compassionate, non judgmental counseling to help clients make it through the different struggles and seasons of life. I take an eclectic approach to meet my clients where they are, design an individualized plan that works the best for them and their needs, and align with them to work through their journey. I enjoy working with adults, children, parents, and families to address past traumas, anxiety, and depression.
