Hello! My name is Brittany Mohammed. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) and I am looking forward to working with you as you move through this season of your life. I have over 8 years of experience in providing therapy, including working with individuals to address and remove barriers that hinders them from operating in their fullest capacity and reaching their full potential as well as assisting individuals with moving through life’s obstacles, thus building resilience, a sense of confidence and hope. I have experience working with adults and adolescents, as well as have experience providing Family Centered Therapy. Although I have many passions, I am extremely passionate about assisting individuals with removing negative cognitive distortions and working to explore life's meaning and purpose. My primary treatment focus includes, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, Bipolar Disorders, trauma, family conflict and grief and loss. I utilize interventions that comes from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing as well as other treatment modalities.

My counseling style is authentic and client-centered. I believe in meeting people where they are. I also believe that we all face life difficulties and that there is no one manual that fits all when it comes to navigating through life’s challenges.
