Hello, my name is Brittany Robinson, LPC and I want to thank you for viewing my profile. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have been practice for the last 5+ years in the DFW area. I have a passion for helping people to heal emotionally, gain insight into their problems, and also achieve the level of success desired, in many areas of their lives.

Life is a journey of experiences, encounters, and efforts. Sometimes we get stuck in a certain place, age, or circumstance and need a helping hand or support. I will come along side of each one of you, join your struggle and be that listening ear or helpful hand. I am passionate about helping others to find their way through the situation where they are stuck in order to gain peace, achievement, awareness, or whatever you wish to find. In order to do this I am eclectic in my approach as every client is unique; using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I am also familiar with Thought Field Therapy (TFT) in the treatment of trauma and abuse.

I received my Master’s in Community Counseling from Argosy University and have gained experience working with women with drug and alcohol addictions, and children with emotional disturbances including those in child protective services. I have also worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with teens and adults with mood disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, and eating disorders. I have been working with those who have walked through traumatic events and abuse for the past 3 years, and am trauma focused in my therapeutic approach.
