About
Empowering others to live their lives to the fullest. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical and Abnormal Social Psychology from Park University. I then continued my education and received a Master if Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. I am currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Although I favor the Cognitive Behavioral and Motivational Interviewing approaches, I believe the best treatments utilize an integration of all modalities to fit the unique needs of each individual. I strongly believe that everyone has a voice and deserves to be heard. I enjoy walking side by side with my clients through the healing process and giving them the encouragement and tools needed to achieve their highest quality of life and to strengthen their interpersonal relationships. I have worked with clients dealing with an array of situations such as working in forensics, residential chemical dependency programs, relationship problems, addiction, depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, trauma survivors, at-risk youth behavioral problems, and different forms of personality disorders to name a few. My goal, as a therapist, is to instill hope in my clients, to help them navigate through past experiences, and to assist them in gaining the empowerment they need to achieve their mental health goals and become their best selves.
