Brittany’s focus in therapy is teaching individuals how to dance in the rain. Brittany has had the pleasure of serving as an honorary dance instructor to individuals and families in various community behavioral health settings. Brittany enjoys her role as a clinician in supporting her clients with rediscovering their strengths, embracing their humanness, and finding their balance. Brittany is known for her big heart, work ethic, sense of humor, compassion, and creativity. She enjoys incorporating art activities, music, meditation, and writing/journaling into therapy.

Brittany has been in the social work field for over 10 years. She was encouraged by her father to study social work because of her heart and desire to be an agent of change. Brittany attended Virginia Commonwealth University, earning her Bachelor of Social Work Degree in 2010 and Master of Social Work Degree in 2012 – GO RAMS! She has experience with providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, intensive care coordination, crisis intervention, and clinical case management services. Brittany became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2019. Witnessing the growth and resilience of the individuals and families she serves is what motivates her to remain in the field.

When Brittany is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two senior dogs, visiting local and national parks, enjoying the company of her amazing family, and dancing in the rain!
