Hi there!

My name is Britt and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Denver, Colorado. I help individuals find their own unique level of success, using humor, honesty, and collaborative problem solving. My background includes child/human development, special education & disabilities, executive functioning, and mood disorders. Due to this, I would be most helpful to individuals looking for support with anxiety, depression, friendships/family relationships, focusing/attention issues, organization struggles (i.e. executive functioning skills), anger management, Autism Spectrum Disorders, goal setting, and/or parenting. I utilize a strengths-based, non-judgmental approach when guiding individuals, using solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness counseling techniques. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and will have completed Level 1 training through the IFS Institute by May 2021.

Before COVID, I worked primarily with adolescents in the school setting, supporting them through individual and/or group counseling, and by providing tips/strategies/supports to their parents, families, and teachers. During my free time, I foster dogs through a local canine rescue and volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team. I stay grounded through connecting with friends/family, exercising/staying active, reading, playing guitar, bike riding, and spending time in nature.
