Hi, I’m Brittany Banks. And while I cannot say I completely understand what you might be going through or how you might be feeling, I can imagine that whatever it may be, it is extremely painful. Perhaps you are feeling stuck or dealing with grief. For me, it was helplessness, and my problems felt just too big to be solved alone. And frankly they were; however, you are NOT alone, just as I was not alone. As a believer in holistic and collaborative therapy, I enjoy using positive energy to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and validated as we work towards your goals and develop long-lasting coping skills. As your therapist, I am also here to help you problem-solve, navigating any internal and external barriers that stand in your way of restoration and change. Bearing witness to your story and experiences, seeing you tap into your strengths, and creating the life you want to live, is the greatest honor because ultimately, we are all striving to live and build relationships the best way, we as people know how.

In the 5+ years that I have been in practice, I have worked in primary-care, hospice, as well as home and community-based settings, primarily helping adult clients cope with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+ and sex/gender identity, chronic/terminal illness, life changes and adjustment issues, and grief.
