About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years experience providing mental health therapy. I am a multi-culturally competent therapist having worked with clients from all different backgrounds. I work with clients on a variety of different issues such as depression, anxiety/stress, relationship issues, self esteem, and trauma.

The way I approach therapy is to engage with my clients in a collaborative relationship. I believe that each individual is in charge of their own destiny and I can act as an aide in the process. I am a cognitive behavioral (CBT) oriented therapist. I work with my clients on understanding how our thoughts affect our behaviors which affect our emotions, and how changing the way we view things in our lives can have a positive impact on our day to day functioning.
