I am a licensed professional counselor and have been practicing for eight years. My training is in marriage and family counseling; however, I have worked with individuals for the majority of my career. I have worked in the substance abuse field, community mental health field and with incarcerated males.

My theoretical approach encompasses person-centered therapy, reality therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I met each client where they are spiritually, emotionally and mentally because I believe it is important to develop a strong-therapeutic relationship to help each person grow in their own way rather than the way society tells them to develop. I use the appropriate therapeutic approach to help challenge each client to grow and overcome any roadblocks they may be experiencing.

I believe that every individual deserves to find happiness at some point in their life. Happiness is something that you build and create yourself. As your counselor, I want to help, create and celebrate all of your accomplishments, big and small, that establish your happiness.

My goal is to provide you with skills to “build” your own happiness. I recommend you do several activities outside of our sessions in order to develop your “building blocks”, gain perspective and successfully reach your goals. I understand much of this process will be difficult, if at any time I ask you to do something that you are not comfortable doing, please tell me and we can revisit this area.

I am available Monday thru Thursday nights for sessions; however, you can send me a message at any time but please allow me up to 24 hours to respond to you. If it is an emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.
