I am licensed in Alabama with 5 years of professional work experience working primarily in an inpatient psychiatric unit as well as the emergency department for the psychiatric unit. Most of my experience is in helping clients who suffer from moderate to severe mental and emotional distress with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

I believe rough patches are inevitable and most people don't know how to handle EVERY distressing situation, simply because we can't control the curve balls life chooses to throw our way. I also believe we are born with strengths to tackle the hardest situations, we just need to learn how/where to find the power within.

My approach is casual but goal-directed. I want you to feel like you're learning the skills you need to better understand and cope with the struggling time you're going through. My goal is for you to feel like you're talking to a friend who can help you feel the light and trust that things are going to get better.
