About

I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Oregon with 15 years experience working as a therapist. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master's in Social Work from California State University in Fresno. I have lived in Portland since 2007 and prior to that I spent 10 years overseas in India, Pakistan and Dubai. I have worked with individuals, couples and families with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and concerns with adjustment to multiple life situations.

As your counselor I will listen and interact with you in a warm and compassionate manner. I respect my clients and will work with you to tailor treatment to your specific needs and interests. I consider it an honor to be your therapist. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, compassion-focused therapy, EMDR and a little heart math and emotional freedom technique.
