I am a Clinical Social Worker in San Jose with over 10 years worth of experience in a variety of settings. My career has given me the opportunity to pracitce in international clinics, hospitals and community based mental health agencies. I have worked in various parts of Western and Northern Africa and I specialize in addressing and treating trauma. I have worked with foster youth, refugees, parents raising differently abeled children, parents who have recently lost a child, and mothers who are experiencing post partum depression or anxiety. I am currently the Program Manager of Parish Engagement at Catholic Charities Santa Clara County where I help connect community members to social services and train volunteers in how to address trauma through peer mentor support. I also have experience in supporting survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual trauma.

My counseling style is client driven and strengths based. I will help you identify the goals that are most important to you and build a roadmap for us to move through while we are in therapy. We will move at your pace and I will offer up interventions as needed. I believe in holistic treatment and I encourage clients to engage in mindfulness, physical activities that fit their ability and spiritual practices that make sense to them.

Therapy is a journey into one's self. It can be a difficult process but it can also lead to a revolutionary way of embracing our pasts, loving ourselves exactly as we are, and looking forward to what is to come. I look forward to supporting you in the process.
