Sometimes in life, you hit a roadblock. That obstacle might be a new life transition, a difficult relationship, or a hard time putting a finger on the reason for why things feel the way they do. I believe that therapy/counseling is a way to navigate through these situations, as well as a place to explore who you are. Talk therapy is like going to the gym, you have to put in the work to see results. I ask you to take an active role in the process of challenging thoughts and behaviors that are causing you pain or suffering. In return, I provide the skills and insight you need to do so. I am a licensed mental health counseling in New York State and provide all services via text, phone or video chat. My graduate work was completed at St. Bonaventure University, studying mental health counseling. As a therapist, my primary goal is to help people better understand how our thoughts and emotions impact how we interact with the world.
