Brianna uses aspects of insight-oriented therapy and interpersonal psychotherapy with a trauma-informed approach to aid you in understanding the impact of previous experiences on your current life circumstances. Brianna is also a firm believer in honoring the mind-body-spirit connection. Through the use of somatic awareness and mindfulness techniques, Brianna aims to increase your awareness of the connection between bodily and emotional experiences and focuses on creating understanding about the ways in which your experiences impact your life decisions, relationships, and overall well-being. Brianna has a background in working with adolescents, young adults, and aging individuals. She specializes in the areas of childhood trauma and emotional abuse/neglect, which may show up in adulthood as feelings of shame, difficulty with vulnerability, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, mistrust towards others, and problems in interpersonal relationships.
