It’s inevitable at some point something happens and we don't know how to address it more-less fix it. It is vital to have someone who will actually listen and accept us as we are flaws and all, without judgment or pity. Prior to working in the mental health world I was in the Army. My education and background allows me to have a unique approach to counseling. I have worked as a therapist in about every setting from in-patient, substance abuse,military/deployments reintegration to private practice. This is not a clinical, stuffy “and how does that make you feel?” kind of session.
