About

I earned my master’s degree in Couple and Family Counseling at the University of Colorado Denver. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado with over five years of experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use, and distress with current life circumstances. I have additional training in Trauma Informed Care and Addiction Counseling, and uses evidence-based approaches to equip clients with effective skills to navigate life.

When a person has a good relationship with their self, they feel more confident in their ability to be in relationship with others. This is similar to airline safety protocols of putting on your own oxygen mask before you attempt to help others with their oxygen mask. Developing a good relationship with yourself involves meeting all of your individual physical, mental, emotional, and social needs. Therapy is a space to learn how your current strategies to meet your legitimate needs may not be getting the results you want, and learn new strategies that allow you to build satisfying relationships with yourself and others.

As a counselor, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to discuss and explore whatever is most important to you in the moment. I integrate various modalities of therapy to treat the whole person (mind, body, emotion) and adapt to the needs of the individual.
