Hi there!  Reaching out for help is not always easy, so welcome to the first step in making a difference in your life! My name is Bretta Moore. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with dual licensure in both Texas and Minnesota. I have ten plus years of working with many different types of individuals from many cultures and backgrounds. Previously, I have worked with school systems, community programs, local agencies, and clinics. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health issues and concerns, including anxiety and depression, trauma/abuse, marital and relational issues, grief/loss, parenting concerns/challenges, blended family issues, divorce, and life transitions. I truly enjoy working with all types of people and I believe that I am called to help those going through difficult and challenging times. Providing support, encouragement and guidance are a few of my qualities as well as honesty, professionalism, and good humor. I work hard to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients, where they can share their hearts and express themselves. My goal is to walk with you through the hard times and celebrate with you in times of joy. My counseling approaches include collaborative/relational, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma-informed care. However, as my client, I will tailor fit the therapy approach to best fit your needs, and try to provide answers along the way. I look forward to working with you and being a part of your wellness journey!
