About

Hi there, I'm Brent! I am Brent. I admire people who are willing to take the steps necessary to better understand their authentic Selves. By seeking a supportive therapeutic relationship you have already taken a huge courageous step towards understanding how to mercifully address the difficult obstacle you face. I believe that you are the expert in your own life. Perhaps you have not been able to access your wisdom or do not believe that you have the insights needed to discover solutions to the issues you are facing. Finding and beginning to live in and from the authentic Self is difficult when we are negatively impacted by the relationships we have with families, work, transitions, Self, and significant others. Finding a good therapist can help. I will be honored to work with you on a creative, relationally dynamic, and supportive journey toward addressing the discomfort you are facing. Our pilgrimage will allow us to be surprised by, wrestle with, and know how to handle the struggle that we are currently holding. Schedule an appointment with me to start the journey of Self-discovery and find your hidden or forgotten abilities to address the difficult aspects of living life. My training is in Drama Therapy with a Master's in Counseling Psychology (CIIS) which will influence how I will be able to support you to access your internal expertise and make the changes you are seeking. I have been a therapist for folks from many parts of life, from San Quentin prison inmates to children and families in foster adoptive transitions. My years of working with teens, seniors, and all ages in between have prepared me with the skills to walk with you towards thriving in the midst of depression, anxiety, major life, and end-of-life transitions, and other profound mental health issues you may be facing. Schedule a time to meet with me so we can start to develop a plan and map out our journey.
