I use an individualized approach to therapy based on your particular needs. That could be examining beliefs, delving into childhood, processing ongoing and recent life events and relationship challenges, practicing leaning into difficult emotions in session, co-creating and refining goals for new habits and change, or even discussing the unfolding dynamics between us as a way of illuminating your style of relating to people in general.

Despite years of studying the theory and research of change, I still see therapy as more of an art than a science, and strive to see each client as the unique individual they are, and each therapy session as the unique stride along their life path that it is.

I believe that the relationship (respect, trust, curiosity, compassion, communication) between us is the foundation of the work. Genuineness and authenticity are central to my style. My general hopes for clients include greater peace, joy, healing, growth, awareness, presence, confidence, self-love, connection, and meaning.

I have over 12 years of experience practicing therapy in various settings, including university, public mental health, and private practice.
