My name is Brenda and I am passionate about wellness, it is my goal to help you cope with the stressors of modern life and recover from the human affliction of mental distress.

I have over a decade of experience treating individuals, couples, and families with a wide range of experience in providing services with a trauma sensitive approach. I work with a holistic mindset that combines traditional psychotherapeutic interventions with emotional regulation development skill training to assist you in learning how to better manage your nervous system for overall better health and wellness.

I have extensive experience working with people with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and burnout. Additionally, I am well versed in treating compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. I am trained to approach therapy from a systems perspective which is beneficial in working with individuals and couples with relationship issues such as infidelity, divorce, and family reconciliation.

I am trained as a certified sex therapy informed professional and I bring a sex positive approach to my work. I have experience with adults and adolescents in the LGBTQ community. Working with people with paraphilias in the kink community, as well as polyamorous and consensually non monogamous individuals and groups. I also have extensive experience with PTSD, and have treated perpetrators and victims of violence and sexual assault, domestic violence, sexual abuse and victims of human trafficking.

I bring an integrative approach to therapy with the goal of providing a validating experience in which you feel safe and welcome to explore your perceptions of the world, heal from unresolved trauma and thrive with new emotional regulation skills to better manage the stressors of modern life.
