I work collaboratively with clients using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational therapy, person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), emotional focused therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness therapy. I work with issues related to PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, anger, romantic relationship issues, grief, and bereavement. Therapy works when we develop complete honesty, mutual respect, optimism, and realistic goals. Client may discuss lifestyle changes and improvement, physical and emotional abuse issues, grief, and other issues causing physical, emotional, and mental distress. Focus of treatment is to reduce symptoms, maintain treatment gains, promote treatment adherence, and promote lifestyle changes.
