Hello and Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington state with over 18 years of clinical experience. I value compassion, empathy, and humor and enjoy partnering ​with my clients  ​to  ​help  them meet  ​their  ​needs  ​and  ​work  ​towards  ​the goals that are important to them.  I've worked with clients who have a wide range of concerns, but my specialties are in the areas of trauma, depression and anxiety, and severe mental illness.

I utilize a number of techniques from several different therapeutic approaches including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapies- including DBT and ACT, Self-Compassion, Mindfulness exercises, Somatic approaches, and Attachment theories, among others. I find the most value I can offer in a counseling relationship is in  helping my clients know ​that  ​there  ​is  ​someone  and  some ​place  where  their stories  are  honored​, their  needs  ​are met, and change is possible.
