About

I was born in Lehi Utah and graduated from Lehi High school. I then attended Weber State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in Technical Sales. After working in the Sales and Service industry for several years, I went to work for the State of Utah Department of Corrections. After 10 years as an officer, I attended the University of Phoenix to obtain a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and created Opportunity Center LLC in September of 2012 serving clients in need of court ordered treatment. This has since expanded to domestic violence treatment, private insurance clients, EAP and First Responder support. Since Covid, I have switched over to online therapy and have really enjoyed the benefits and convenience it provides. During my career, I have worked with a lot of clients struggling with different challenges, but the most common have been substance abuse, depression, anxiety, anger, hopelessness, and relationship issues. I believe that every person deserves to be happy and through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered therapy approaches, I help my clients learn and find ways to work towards and achieve self love, personal happiness, and inner peace. I think through patience, hard work and dedication, each person is capable of change and I am very passionate about helping others through the process. In my free time, I like to hang out with my family, travel, camp, and read. I very much look forward to working with you.
