My name is Brandalyn Kemp. I am a counselor licensed in Ohio with over 10 years of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I work with individuals as well as couples and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. I also helped many people who had experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I use two treatment approaches: CBT and Narrative Therapy. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is the most common type amongst therapists as it helps an individual to challenge thoughts and emotions that may lead to undesirable behaviors. I enjoy using narrative therapy because it allows people to write or rewrite their stories in a more positive way.As long as an individual is committed to making some changes, I also make that same commitment to help in the ways that I am professionally able to. It takes a lot of will to ask for help, but everyone needs help at some point. I want to provide that to you.
