About

I am a licensed professional counselor, mental health service provider (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee with over 3 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including substance addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life direction, career challenges, marital issues, communication, and re-building trust. I have worked closely with individuals, couples, and families who have been impacted by substance abuse, as well as college students and young adults struggling with life challenges and transitions.

I believe that individuals can be empowered with information, encouragement, and support. My approach in therapy is warm, empathic, and allows for individuals from all walks of life to be treated with respect and dignity. I explore racial, ethnic, and culture differences with the utmost sensitivity and care. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, psychodynamic and narrative counseling. The treatment planning process is a collaborative one so I work closely with my clients to ensure that the approach and goals are tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
