Hi there, I'm Bonnie! Hi my name is Bonnie Hegna Licensed Marriage Family Therapist #143978. My approach to therapy is an electic approach short term. My focus of practice have been grief and loss, self inflicted violent behavior, ADHD, Anger Management, Anxiety, Marriage Counseling, Behavioral issues, Divorce, Child Abuse, and Foster Youth as well as Victims of Crime. My approach I use eclectic approach with solution focused and short term. My focus I am most comfortable working with children 5 to 10 and adults. I work well with behavioral issues, grief and loss, self inflicted violent behavior, victims of crime, child abuse, divorce, ADHD, school issues, job issues, conflicts, and life changes. My communication style I create a safe inviting environment for my clients. My journey to mental healthcare What attracted me to this line of work is when I first started to work in group homes and was working with the abused children. I enjoy helping others feel safe and a purpose. My goals for you I approach goal setting with my client's by obtaining their input and working together. My first session with you In the first session would be getting to know each others, talk about credentials, and asking likes and dislikes of the client.
