As a counselor it is my priority to help you feel valued and supported. I strive to create a comfortable, non-judgmental inviting "virtual space" where you will feel safe to vent, be heard, and grow in your self-awareness.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC- licensed in Illinois) and I work with clients of all ages in individual, couples, and family therapy. Areas of special interest include: relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal identity challenges. My approach to counseling is client-centered, recognizing that we are each unique and we all long to be whole.
If you are looking for Christian Counseling, I would be honored to assist you. However, I work with clients of all spiritual backgrounds- and YOU, the client- will direct if we include any conversation about your faith/spirituality.
I became a counselor because I know "life is challenging"...we all have "stuff"...and each of us sometimes need someone to journey with us to help us navigate this crazy, wonderful life! I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.
