About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have been in the Mental Health field for 13 years and Counseling for 8. My approach is Client-Centered; I believe with guidance and commitment we can achieve the motivation and strength within ourselves to change our lives. Are you ready for a transformation? Are you ready for a choice that will lead you to a brighter, more stable future. If you are interested in making positive life changes and want sessions during normal business hours, evening hours and Saturday I am the counselor for you. My specialization is in Co-Occurring Disorders; I have expertise in diagnosing how certain mental health problem can lead to chemical dependency or vice versus. You will find I genuinely care for my clients and know personally the obstacles that may appear while trying to manage depression, anxiety and addiction. I am a very non-judgmental counselor and this has influenced my client-centered approach. My methodology in dealing with co-occurring mental health disorders is to first discover what motivates self-defeating behaviors, then carefully map out goals you want to achieve, after which we will walk through any obstacles you may have encountered and how to make the changes you seek.
