I'm Birshari, pronounced "Ba-shah-rah," and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with depression, stress and anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, balancing career and home, coping with grief and loss, and motivation, self esteem and confidence. I use different treatment approaches, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, where we would discover how thoughts and thinking patterns lead to behaviors and actions, and work together to develop coping skills and strategies to better handle situations that arise. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
