About
Welcome!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; who received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
I enjoy working alongside individuals, couples and families on their unique journey of self-discovery and healing. By creating a warm and non-judgmental environment, I allow clients to safely explore their innermost feelings and emotions as they move towards a life full of happiness and fulfillment. I take a holistic approach to mental health paying close attention to the interconnectedness of the body, mind and spirit, and tailors therapy to fit the unique needs of every client.
Over the past few years I has developed a passion for working with everything related to Maternal Mental Health and the sometimes-difficult transition into motherhood. I have also recently completed the “Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training for Mental Health and Clinical Professions” offered through Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom and which focuses on Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders.
Additionally, I have been trained as a facilitator for Prepare/Enrich, a program proven to significantly impact the relationships of both premarital and married couples and I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
