Greetings!

My name is Dr. Bianca Chery and I am a research psychologist and a noted and licensed mental health counselor/psychotherapist in the South Florida region. As a psychotherapist with over 10 years in the field, I have had great successes with assisting hundreds of individuals in the therapeutic space. By taking on a comprehensive approach to providing therapy, I invite my clients to delve deep to cleanse and heal from within.

In my therapeutic career, I have had the opportunity to empower individuals to change their lives through various evidenced-based practices that are aimed at helping individuals overcome an array of mental health issues such as depression, stress, anxiety. Those who have had the opportunity to work with me have been able to overcome bouts of depression and anxiety and have been able to begin living their optimal lives.

As a psychotherapist, my ultimate goal is to help you truly heal. By using and implementing comprehensive and evidenced-based practices, approaches and treatments, I help you heal from the deep-rooted causes of mental discomfort so that you can begin to make the positive changes you would like to make in your life. I do this through a series of steps that are designed to help you begin living the life you have envisioned for yourself.

Some of the evidenced-based therapeutic modalities I use with adolescents, adults and families are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Existential Therapy. The therapeutic modalities I use with children are: Play Therapy, Learning Disorders, Special Needs, Art Therapy and Behavioral Therapy. After our initial session, we will then craft an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to your needs and the desires you wish to accomplish on your healing journey. Finally, we will delve in, together, to begin your healing.
