Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. It is important for you to be comfortable with both your clinician and the process. Now, about me. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Life Coach in the state of Maryland. I am a veteran with 29 years of service and chose to enter the counseling profession to continue to serve. My goals in therapy are to empower you in navigating the challenges presented by life and to ensure that you have the tools necessary to begin the healing process and transition to a stabilizing and healthy mental status.

I've worked with individuals facing a variety challenges such as stress and anxiety, terminal illness, PTSD, unemployment or job transition, trauma and abuse, communication failure, sexual health, relationship and parenting challenges. I am looking forward to working together with you as you learn more about yourself and do the work to grow and to heal. This process is not easy, but you will not be alone.

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to provide a healing and trusting environment to ensure stability through life transitions while providing the necessary assist to reach therapeutic goals. The primary approach I use in treatment is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which addresses how your mind processes thoughts about yourself and your world and dictates how your behavior addresses those same thoughts. I couple CBT with Reality Therapy to address problem solving and help you make better choices in the midst of your current situation.

Throughout this process, I will never forget about you. This process requires us to work together to find what specifically works for you as an individual. I am always learning and using what I learn to help my clients. I am passionate about utilizing the breadth of my experiences in helping you to repair and heal from brokenness. The outcome of this therapeutic relationship is dependent on your willingness and commitment to the process.
