We all have a story worth telling. Therapy should be a safe place to put all pieces on the table and sort them out. Therapy takes courage, humility and commitment to our mental, emotional and spiritual health. It can help us restore to ourselves some of what the pain of life has stolen from us. Just as beauty springs up from even the thickest ash, we sometimes surprise ourselves with our capacity for resilience and growth. We are prisoners of our own history if we fail to identify and dress the wounds that infect our souls, shape our beliefs, and challenge our hearts and minds in ways we may not feel strong enough to deal with alone
