I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the sunny state of Florida. I've worked throughout my graduate and post-graduate career with a multitude of different populations and enjoy the rewarding nature of my job because I come across people that teach me something new about life and resiliency each and every day. I've had the honor of working with children in foster care to families in the child welfare system and families struggling with problem sexual behaviors in children. My training allows me to see you as part of a larger system and so all facets of your life are taken into consideration when exploring how to best help you reach your therapeutic goals. I've empowered people to address anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting struggles and negative cognitive processes.

My therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centered, so a therapy session feels like a deep conversation between people with a common goal of identifying how to best tackle what's presented in the room. My past clients have described me as genuine, not afraid to tackle the hard topics, and having a great personality that was not condescending or judgmental. I am supportive, while also being able to maintain a good sense of humor when needed and appropriate in a session. As such, I'm able to easily engage someone who is 4 or someone who is 94. Many enjoyed my ability to push them past their comfort zone in a supportive way that allowed them to break free from past issues that were paralyzing their ability to fulfill truly complete lives.

As an LMFT, I'm trained to work with individuals, couples and families regardless of age. I'm Latinx and do speak intermediate Spanish, but I'm even more fluent in Spanglish and can work comfortably with clients who are native Hispanic speakers like myself.
