About

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor in Minnesota. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, complex trauma histories, and concerns relating to sexually abusive or addictive behaviors. I also enjoy working with people who have experienced systemic trauma, especially the BIPOC and LGBTQ communities. I do my best work with people aged 16 and older.

I received both my Bachelor's degrees (Corrections and Psychology) as well my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University-Mankato. My counseling style is warm and personable. I believe in treating clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is eclectic, but I primarily use Person Centered theories as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I believe the counseling relationship is the biggest indicator of a client's success in therapy, and I will work to tailor your treatment plan and sessions to meet your needs.
