Hello! I am a marriage family therapist based in Connecticut with 13 years of experience in behavioral health services, three of which have been direct clinical care. I have worked with a variety of clients with a wide range of concerns and needs. As a clinician, I provide support to individuals, couples, and families facing challenging transition in life or bearing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief. I have worked with client's with an array of symptoms of diagnoses including major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder, ADHD, and PTSD. I tend to steer away from pathologizing clients, instead I perceive clients as individuals with unique circumstances and abilities.

I consider myself a strength based, client centered therapist, that uses a variety of techniques based on the client's desired goals. Some modalities that I utilize consist of emotionally focused therapy, solution focused therapy, structural family therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Therapy can be difficult and it takes courage to share your personal experiences with a clinician. I believe that it is my job to create a foundation of trust, safety, and caring in order for a client to express themselves freely.
