Hello, my name is Beth Allison Ringel and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice or LISW-CP in South Carolina. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Social Work or MSW from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. I have over thirty years of experience successfully managing and providing counseling to a wide variety of ages from youth to the elderly, with particular emphasis on abuse, PTSD, bipolar, autism, major depression, panic and anxiety. I successfully oversaw programs and delivered direct care to clients in a wide range of settings from nonprofit centers through private counseling centers to major hospital inpatient centers. I am proficient in the use of several therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy. I tailor my therapeutic technique to the situation. I am an unbiased listener partnering with you to accomplish your goals and to solve the problems you bring into our therapeutic alliance. I also have skill and experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, individual counseling, case management, autism, abuse, pain management, mental health counseling, trauma, and dealing with disabilities.
