Hi, I am Dr. Ben Sinclair LPC/MHSP. As a licensed therapist and clinical supervisor in Tennessee, I have vast experience as a people helper. I began my career as a case manager for the Department of Children’s Services (CPS). Then I moved to the Department of Human Services where I handled Families First, SNAP, and Medicaid cases. My practicum was with crisis response and my internship with a clinic that specialized in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings including many years in both the prison system and as a Behavioral Health Specialist while serving in the military. I love teaching classes and specialize in all types of small groups such as drug & alcohol, parenting, anger management, finances, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Traumatic Event Management Seminars (TEMS).

My counseling style is eclectic, meaning I borrow from a variety of sources and adapt to what works for my clients. I have found many of my clients like my use of the integrity (conscience) based model for human behavior. In addition to a doctorate in Christian counseling I have an Eds in psychology, a master of arts in human relations (vocational counseling), a bachelor’s degree in management, and an associate degree in Bible. I am certified in palliative and hospice care. Whether counseling veterans, current service members, geriatrics, those with life controlling problems, couples, or parents, you will find me to be a solution-based therapist.
