About

I am an LPC-Supervisor with over 20 years of experience as a Bilingual School Counselor and over 3 years experience as a Tele- Mental Health Professional. I am a Native Texan and fluent Spanish Speaker. I have specialized training in crisis counseling and intervention, expressive arts, mindfulness, animal-assisted therapy, and play therapy.
My practice leans towards trauma and grief-informed modalities. I consider my counseling modality to centralize in Existentialism, but I always consider the client's needs first and work with complementary modalities. I love expressive arts therapies and am currently working on a certification in trauma-informed Art Therapy at Southwestern College in New Mexico. I also have training and experience in Mindfulness-based Therapy, EMDR, and Somatic Psychotherapy. I've always had a great drive and purpose in my profession and it is to serve others. My hope is that I will be able to be of help to the online community as well.
