What should your client know about you? I have been in private practice for six years and my rich background in counseling includes over seventeen years as a school counselor in elementary, middle, and high school. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults on pursuing treatment goals for counseling using positive solutions towards improved mental health. I am certified in EMDR therapy and I am a trauma-informed therapist who also has been trained in Acceleration Resolution Therapy (ART) and Progressive Counting. What is your approach to therapy? I work on addressing areas my clients feel are beneficial towards the successful outcomes for their mental health using approaches that are creative and life-affirming. I ensure my clients a safe and nonjudgmental environment during the session as we embark on their journey towards their mental health goals. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I work very hard to establish my therapeutic relationship with my clients to ensure they feel comfortable and safe as I embark with them on their journey towards improved mental health.
